About MakerLove

Technology has always found its way to the bedroom. We just publish the files.

Where this site came from

MakerLove.com first went live in 2012, in the earliest wave of consumer 3D printing, with a simple premise: if people can fabricate objects privately at home, some of the first things they'll want to make are the things they're too embarrassed to buy. It published free printable sex toy designs and got written up in the design and tech press for it. It was a genuinely early idea — years before printable toys became a niche of their own.

Where it's going

In 2026 the domain changed hands. The new MakerLove — independent of, and not affiliated with, the original operators — is being rebuilt with the same spirit and a bigger ambition:

Who we are

We're a small independent team of makers and e-commerce people who think the intersection of desktop fabrication and personal pleasure is still criminally under-built. Questions, press, or partnership ideas: contact us.
